Friday Link Round Up – brought to you by Sore Muscles

I usually work out quite regularly, but took the last week off to rest some. Last night I got back on the exercise bandwagon and am HURTING today. There is not enough ibuprofen in the world…

Eckersley saga continues to churn – A goofy situation is going on in Missouri where the Governor was outed for deleting his e-mails. Then a lawyer from his office was let go, and that lawyer is now claiming that he was fired for advising the Gov to retain e-mails. Am I the only one who gets the feeling that the lawyer is making things up to disguise his poor job performance?

Dallas Must Provide Messages from Personal Accounts – The courts came down with an exciting new ruling in this Texas case — that correspondence by government officials is a matter of public record, regardless of the medium. To my knowledge, no such case has been filed (yet) in Wisconsin, but I hope that courts would make a similar decision if/when the question does arise here.

Legislator would make Open Records Act violations a felony – Georgia State Rep. Jill Chambers is taking a strong stance for open records, and the duty of public officers to provide them.
