Today I want to draw attention to a very well-researched post at The Political Environment titled The DNR Wants To Be A Law Unto Itself. In this post, James Rowan discusses his concerns about the manner in which the DNR is handling the balance of federal and state laws regarding water in the Great Lakes. Mr. Rowan used the Wisconsin Open Records act to learn just what is going on at the DNR, and his results are startling.
